Oman Air currently operates direct flights from Muscat to several destinations in the Arabian Gulf region such as Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Madinah, and Kuwait. In the Middle East, North Africa and the Persian region, national carrier flights also depart to Cairo, Amman, Tehran, Mashhad, Zanzibar, Dar es Salaam, Nairobi and Mashhad.
In addition, Oman Air flies to eleven destinations in India, namely Mumbai, Chennai, Cochin, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, Delhi, Lucknow, Bangalore, Kozhikode, Jaipur and Goa. It is planned that the national carrier will open 4 destinations this year to the Turkish city of Istanbul by one trip per day and to the Moroccan Casablanca during the months of June and July respectively and to the Russian capital Moscow in the winter flight schedule, to the Mali side in the Maldives starting from next October. These new destinations are part of the national carrier's strategic expansion plan, which aims to provide a global network and convenient connectivity options through the national carrier’s operations headquarters in Muscat.
Code sharing agreements remain an integral part of the company's growth strategy, as it now has code sharing agreements with many leading airlines such as German Airlines, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, Ethiopian Airlines and Turkish Airlines, along with SriLankan Airlines and Royal Dutch Airlines And Garuda Indonesian Airlines, in addition to Thai Airways, Saudi Airlines, Kenya Airways, Bangkok Airways, Kuwait Airways and Etihad Airways, which contributes to the death of Better connectivity services for travelers and more options available to them.
